* * * * * INSTALLING THE CSC FASTCACHE PCMCIA WINDOWS 95 DRIVER * * * * *

Install and boot Windows 95 normally without the CSC FastCache PCMCIA 
controller installed.

From the START MENU, choose Settings and then click on 'Control Panel'

When the Control Panel appears, double click on the 'PC Card (PCMCIA)'
icon.

Follow the on screen instructions to install the 32-Bit driver for
your PCMCIA Socket controller.  After the drivers have loaded, restart
your system again without the CSC PCMCIA Controller installed.

When Windows 95 reloads completely, insert the CSC FastCache PCMCIA
controller into your PCMCIA Socket with your SCSI devices attached,
powered on, and properly terminated.

The 'New Hardware Found' window will appear and show that it found the 
                     'CSC FastCache PCMCIA'

Select 'Driver from disk provided by hardware manufacturer' and click on
the 'OK' button.

Insert the CSC FastCache PCMCIA Windows 95 driver diskette and follow the
on screen prompts to install the driver.

After the driver has loaded properly, a happy "BEEP" will sound and the 
CSC FastCache PCMCIA controller will now be available to use in Windows 95.

If hard drives are attached to the CSC FastCache PCMCIA controller:

        From the Control Panel, double click on the 'System' Icon.
        The 'System Properties' window will appear.
        Click on the 'Device Manager' tab.
        Double click on 'Disk drives' to expand the tree.
        Click on the disk drive that is connected to the CSC FastCache
                PCMCIA Controller to highlight it and click on the
                'Properties' button.
        Another properties window will appear.
        Click on the 'Settings' tab.
        Within the options section of the 'Settings' tab, click on 
                'Removable' to add a check mark and click on the
                'OK' button.
        Click on 'OK' again and restart the system.

To remove the CSC FastCache PCMCIA controller while Windows 95 is still
running:

        From the Control Panel, double click on the PC Card (PCMCIA) icon.
        The PC Card (PCMCIA) Properties window will appear.
        Click on the CSC FastCache PCMCIA to highlight it, the click on the
                'Stop' button.
        You may now remove the CSC FastCache PCMCIA controller.

NOTE: Do NOT turn off or disconnect any devices attached to the CSC FastCache
PCMCIA controller while Windows 95 is running. Follow the procedure to remove
the CSC FastCache PCMCIA controller to disconnect or power down any devices
attached to it.
