New In This Version!
====================

With the newest BIOS version 3.04 the X10 Fast Floppy can now co-exist with
another floppy controller and drives. When the X10 card initializes it will
automatically scan and detect any other floppy controller in the system. If
the X10 does find another floppy controller, the X10 will load as a secondary
floppy controller. No additional options or other user intervention are needed
to enable this option.

When the X10 is loaded as a secondary floppy controller the drive will be
assigned the next logical drive letter after all primary partitions and
before any logical partitions. This is how all FAT16 operating systems (DOS,
Windows, Windows95) handle secondary floppies.

For example; if your system has two hard drives, the first is all one big
primary partition (C) and the second is devided into one primary (D) and one
logical partition (E). When the X10 is added as a secondary floppy controller
it will take drive letter (E) and push the logical partition on the second
drive to (F).

Also the 'EJECT.COM' utility has been enhanced. It can now assign a 'Hot-Key'
at bootup so you can eject the floppy without exiting the program running by
pressing 'ALT-E' for example. (Hot-Key is user definable, see below for more
information)

Some additional items have been added to the 'X10DUP.EXE' options screen. See
below for complete descriptions.

CSC FastCache X10 Floppy Eject Utility
======================================

EJECT.COM usage:
----------------

The eject utility can be used in two ways.

1) Eject on DOS command.
2) As a TSR (terminant-stay-resident) "Hot Key".

To install, run 'INSTALL.BAT'. Or, do the following to install manually.
To use eject as a DOS command, type "eject" from a DOS prompt.
Or, within Windows 31 use the pif file to 'create a new item' within
a program group. In Windows 95 This same file can be used as a 'shortcut'
that can be drag-and-dropped onto the desktop.

To use as a TSR (for DOS, Windows and 95), add the following line
to your autoexec.bat, with the appropriate path:

eject.com [{/|-}{alt|ctrl}+{a|b|...|z}]

Examples:
---------
c:\x10\eject.com /alt+e
-or-
c:\x10\eject.com -alt+e
c:\x10\eject.com /ctrl+e
c:\x10\eject.com /alt+g
etc...

CSC Floppy Duplication Utility
==============================

The floppy duplication program 'X10DUP.EXE' can duplicate floppies.
The data can be saved in memory for multiple copies or saved as an
image file to the hard drive.

To install run 'INSTALL.BAT', or you can do it manually by make a directory
called 'X10', for example, on your hard drive and copy the files 'X10DUP.EXE,
X10DUP.ICO, X10DUP.PIF' into it. Then from a dos prompt type 'X10DUP'. Or,
within Windows 31 use the pif file to 'create a new item' within a program
group. In Windows 95 this same file can be used as a 'shortcut' that can be
drag-and-dropped onto the desktop.

Some added changes have been made to the program that are not yet
reflected in the manual.

Under options, 'Skip F6H', 'Track Skew', 'Auto Copy', and 'Save
Options' have been added.

Skip F6H - When turned on, during the disk duplication, all
-------- blank space on the disk will be skipped.

When off, it will copy the entire disk, including
                       any blank space.

Track Skew - When turned on, the new disks will be written
---------- with a different interleave. This alternate
interleave will cause the new disk to be read even
faster on the X10 drive. The disks can also still
be read normally on a standard floppy drive.

Auto Copy - When turned on, the program will auto-detect when a
--------- new blank is inserted, write the data, automatically
eject when done, and prompt for a new disk without
		       any user intervention.

Save Options - This will save all the settings under 'options' so
------------ when you run this program again, it will remember
the previous settings. If the options are not saved,
they will default to the original settings.
