1. The ACCTON EtherCombo-32 Network Testing Program - ACCTEST

The ACCTON Hardware Driver Disk includes a network testing program
called ACCTEST. Run this program to check if your adapter is properly
installed. The ACCTEST program works for the following EtherCombo-32
LAN adapters:

	Ŀ
	   Product Name Product Number
	Ĵ
	  EtherCombo-32 EN1200

This ACCTEST program performs the following tests on your adapter :

		 a. Configuration Test
		 b. I/O Test
		 c. ID Test
		 d. MAC Loopback Test
		 e. ENDEC Loopback Test
		 f. Transceiver Loopback Test
		 g. Interrupt Test
		 h. Network Function Test

2. Test Requirements

To run ACCTEST, you need at least two	workstations, each with an
installed EtherCombo-32 or any ACCTON Acc-10 Ethernet adapter.	You
should run the program in both workstations, one after the other.

3. Running the ACCTEST Program

Insert the ACCTON EtherCombo-32 Hardware Driver Disk into drive A:,
then type:

	       A:\> ACCTEST [/slot:x] <Enter>

[/slot:x]	This is an optional parameter that specifies the
slot number of the adapter pluged in your EISA
machine. If not specified, the least slot with
Accton EtherCombo-32 LAN Adapter scanned will
		be testing.

-------------------------------------------------------------------

3.1. When you run the ACCTEST program, a Testing Report showing the
result of each test conducted appears on your screen. The test
results are indicated by a 'PASS' or 'FAIL' remark.
The screen display on your monitor is like Figure 1.

There are three functional keys which could be used during
execute ACCTEST.EXE program, they are

<F1>	To reset all counters which report the real
		network status.

<F2>	To toggle the network function test ON or OFF.
It is a toggle switch makes the network function
test to be in reversed way.

<ESC>	To terminate and exit this ACCTEST.EXE program to
return to the DOS command mode.

The real network status report on this ACCTEST.EXE program including
TX count, RX count and two errors CRC and ALG with error rates
are shown on the Test Screen. The Time that is accumulated by
this program and the Performance which is calculated by this
program are also shown on the Test Screen.

After you press the <F2> key once, the network function test now
is entering into the 'ON' condition, that is, TX count is going
to increase quickly (single station).	And if there is more than
one station are running DIAG with network function test 'ON' on
your network system (multiple stations), then RX count is also
increasing quickly to reflect the real network traffic. The Test
Screen layout given in Figure 3 will be shown on your screen
while there is only one station running ACCTEST program.

 Description : ͻ
Please check your IRQ setting in EISA configuration, check if IRQ
number is conflict with other adapters. And run ACCTEST.EXE again.
Please also check the cabling system if it is connected correctly.
If all the IRQ setting is OK and cabling system is correct too,
